Practising my Hybrid makeup look 2

I wasn't happy with the makeup I did last time, so I will change the aspects of the look I didn't like to improve it. I will add milky white eye contacts to this look in my assessment to make it look like her human eyes don't work and she is seeing out of her snail eyes. I will also not add the tentacles in this practise because I only have two sets of tentacles and want to save them for my more formal practice and assessment.

Step by step:
1. I first prepped the skin by cleansing, toning and moisturising to make sure the skin was completely clean.
2. I mixed together black and white supra colour until I got the light grey colour I was after. I then used a stippling brush to apply this all over the face, making it as flawless as possible. I made sure to apply this to the ears and neck too.
3. I added some more white to the base colour and used it to highlight the face. I used a small flat brush to apply it under her eyes in a triangle shape, on her chin, on the Cupid's bow, down her nose and in the centre of her forehead.
4. I applied some shine mixing medium by Mac on the tops of her cheek bones, on her chin, on her Cupid's bow, down her nose and on the centre of her forehead. I also applied this to her eyelids.
5. I applied a light coat of mascara to the top and bottom eyelashes.
6. I applied some black pencil to her water line and tight line.
7. I filled in the eye brows with a mixture of black and grey eye shadows and an angled brush.
8. I mixed some white and black supra colour together to create a slightly darker colour I than the face and applied it to the outer portion of her lips with a small angled brush.
9. I added some white to this mixture and added it just to the centre of the lips to give an ombré effect.
10. I mixed some black and white supra colour together to make a grey colour slightly darker than the base to use as a contour. I applied this with the stippling brush under the cheekbones and around the forehead and temples.

I really like the glossy finish of the skin because it reflects the shininess of the snail's skin, but in a flattering way; however to make it even more flawless I could add a primer before applying te supra colori to fill in my model's pores. I found the contour a lot easier to blend and I like how it is very subtle because I want it to look natural. I originally wasn't going to contour the face at all and just do the technique called 'stoning' but infound the face looked too flat so I added a very natural looking contour. I really like how the eyes stand out with the black in the water line because it will draw attention to the fact that they are blind (using milky white contacts) and it brings beauty to the look as many women do this to accentuate their eyes. I like that the eye brows are slightly more subtle as they don't draw as much attention. I like how defined the lips look, without being too dark or harsh looking, however I think I will make the centre of the lips lighter to make it more of an ombré effect to give them more dimension as big lips is seen to be beautiful in out human society.
